Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Payments

Credit Card Processing by SecureTrading

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Solo, Delta, Electron, Maestro, Mastercard Debit and Paypal via our SSL Checkout pages.

If you would prefer you can pay by Bank Transfer (details will be sent to you on your Order Confirmation) and we can call you back to process your Card Details over the phone.

Card payments are processed by Secure Trading; the UK's leading independent payment processor. Secure Trading are Level 1 PCI DSS compliant and so your card safety is guaranteed.

Paypal payments are processed via the Paypal Secure Gateway.

Housegoblin do not hold (or even see) your card details.

VAT

VAT registration no. 503531314996 . No VAT is chargeable for countries outside of the EC and the UK Channel Islands. A 0% VAT rate is applied during checkout after you have selected your country in the address fields.

EC Business to Business (outside of the UK)

We can supply you VAT  free but need your official VAT number. Please contact use before your first order so we can set up your account correctly.

Credit Card Security

We do not store any credit card details. All payments are made via the Secure Trading or Paypal gateway.

Returns

We hope that all is well with your order and that there is no need for this but ...!

If you return goods you must contact us by email or phone in advance and should send items by recorded post to ensure that you have proof that we have received them. Goods must be in 'as received' condition in original undamaged packaging and suitable for immediate resale.

UK orders only: If you want to return faulty goods please contact us and we will arrange to have them picked up. We may sometimes ask you to return them by post and in this case we will reimburse you reasonable postage costs.

Non-UK orders: You will need to pay your own return postage costs.

If you want to return non-faulty goods e.g. because you don't like them for some reason or you have ordered the wrong items, we will reimburse you the purchase price. However you will need to pay postage costs yourself and we won't reimburse you for them.
