"From The Anvil" Beeswax Gothic Thumb latch XL with longer Thumb Bar
For internal use only.
This Gothic Thumblatch Set comes with a beautifully crafted ribbed handle complete with bar, staple and keep. It has an extra long thumb bar for thick doors i.e. 45mm.
The thumb piece passes through the door and raises the latch bar, or lifter, off the keep. To restrict the latch bar movement a staple pin is provided.
To use this as a toilet or bathroom door lock, use locking staple pin 33244 (see link below). It has a leather thong with a pin to stop the movement of the latch bar.
For an smaller thumb bar use 33150 (see link below).
Use in conjunction with From The Anvil Penny End or Arrow Head T-Hinges.
