"From The Anvil" Pewter Patina Medium Bean Thumb latch
This Bean Thumb Latch Set comes with a beautifully crafted handle complete with bar, staple and keep.
The thumb piece passes through the door and raises the latch bar, or lifter, off the keep. To restrict the latch bar movement a staple pin is provided.
To use this as a toilet or bathroom door lock, use locking staple pin 33648 (see link below). It has a leather thong with a pin to stop the movement of the latch bar.
